No. Editor's Companion is a lightweight HTML panel — it doesn't interact with your timeline, render pipeline, or project files. It uses the same technology as Adobe's built-in panels.
Premiere Pro 2019 (version 13.0) and later. Works on both Windows and macOS.
Data is stored locally in your browser's localStorage, so it stays on the machine where you installed it. Projects, tasks, notes, and achievements persist across Premiere restarts but don't sync between computers.
Use a free ZXP installer tool like Anastasiy's Extension Manager or ZXP Installer — just drag the .zxp file in. Alternatively, you can unzip the file and manually place the folder in your Adobe CEP extensions directory. Full instructions are included in the download.
Currently it's built for Adobe Premiere Pro only. It uses Adobe's CEP (Common Extension Platform) which is specific to Adobe apps. After Effects support may come in the future.
Deep Focus locks the entire panel. The tab bar greys out and a fullscreen timer counts down your focus session. You can still access your projects, tasks, and notes during lock mode. End it early anytime if you need to.
